Description: The Fort Nelson Visitor Information Centre is located at Mile 300 on the famous Alaska Highway. Stop in to get information, ask questions, use the computers or internet, use bathrooms and fill up your coffee mug. The centre is also stocked with local artisan products from art and jewelry to pottery and First Nations products which may make a great keepsake. The visitor centre is open Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm from September to May and then 8 am to 7 pm Sunday to Saturday for the summer months.
